They had a great time exploring the ground, and even immersed themselves in nature!

Monday 18 September 2023 Reading for Pleasure As part of our drive to increase reading for pleasure, classes across the school enjoyed 20 mins of dedicated reading time. KS3 enjoyed the chance to read a book of their choice. KS4 & 5 used the opportunity to explore academic reading in their subjects.

Wednesday 13 September 2023 Working in Partnership A fantastic example of our pupils working together in partnership. Year 12 Literacy Prefects hosted guided reading sessions for Year 7 readers. Not only has this supported our transition and induction efforts, but it has provided our older students with opportunities to develop their skill sets. And it was wonderful to hear such beautiful reading in the morning, too!

Wednesday 21 June 2023 Getting Exam Ready Earlier this month, Year 11 had their final celebration and good luck mass led by Father Kevin, a positive and uplifting service which buoyed pupils up for their upcoming exams. Pupils then enjoyed a pizza lunch and Coronation-themed afternoon tea. Good luck Year 11!
