Values

Our values are based on the eight Beatitudes - blessings recounted by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount recorded in the Gospel of Matthew.

Generosity: Providing the opportunity for pupils to take leadership in volunteering, fundraising and giving their time and efforts in helping others in our community.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"

Empathy: Considering the feelings of others and instilling respect for diversity and supporting every member of our community, of all faiths and none.

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" 

Diligence: Embedding high expectations for all pupils to make the most of their personalised educational journey to grow into the best version of themselves.

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" 

Kindness: A friendly, dynamic school where success is celebrated, and strengths, talents, abilities and achievements are collectively and individually recognised.

Resilience: Flourishing, unrivalled and vibrant enrichment programme preparing our pupils for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century.

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven" 

Reflection: Exceptional pastoral care for our pupils physically, mentally and socially so that their wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" 

Ambition: Encouraging pupils to strive to be the best that they can be, pursuing academic and experiential opportunities to prepare them for future success in the world of work.

Humility: Working in a close and inclusive community, in partnership with parents, ensuring a school where pupils put the needs of others first and are of service to one another.
