Careers Visit
We were delighted to have Professor Wilfred Achille talk to our pupils in Year 10 and a smaller group in Y7-13 about working in architecture and the architecture industry. He was joined by our previous head boy Anthony who is one of his architecture students.
The professor is a lecturer at Westminster and has a huge career spanning back to the 80s when he completed a study and re-design of the Broadwater Farm estate in London after the 80s riots. He is an ex-pupil of Bishop Douglass and has previously been chair of the Society of Black Architects and encouraged all of our pupils to follow their dreams and challenge stereotypes wherever they are found. Attached are some of the projects he has designed.
